Kinect reinvents window shopping

What if I told you that in the future mannequins would be displayed in store front windows and would mimic your every move. Well that future is now a reality, meet United Arrow a clothing store located in Tokyo Japan that has been equipped with a neat little Kinect hack. Labeled as the worlds first interactive mannequin, United Arrow has been using these tech enhanced mannequins as a new form of marketing to attract potential customers.

Sure it might be a little frightening but these projects created by the Kinect for Windows SDK are becoming very creative starting points and could one day lead up to the norm of how we interact with the world. I for one welcome our mannequin overlords.
