Meet David V. Kimball, new Editor-in-Chief of Redmond Post
Hello Redmond Posters!
I am pleased to announce the official relaunch and re-branding of Redmond Post (see the new colors and logo?).
Because I’m new here, I thought I’d give you a quick chance to get to know me.
My name is David V. Kimball, and I’m from the greater Seattle, Washington area. I’ve been attending Northwest University in Kirkland for the past three years, and am planning on graduating this December with a BA in Organizational Communication and a minor in Marketing. Some of you may know me as the guy on Twitter who started the Tile Me! Windows Phone app idea along with Ertay Shashko.
I’ve been a long-time follower of Redmond Post since its Zunited days back in 2008, and am pleased to reveal the new vision for this website. As before, Redmond Post is dedicated to bringing you news, opinionated articles, and more types of content centered around the Redmond, WA-based company, Microsoft. However we’re expanding with two key partnerships: an upcoming Xbox news website and forum, Xbox MAD, and the Windows Phone podcast from fans, for fans, Glance and Go Radio. The focus of Redmond Post will center around Windows and Windows Phone primarily, with some cross over into other areas, while Xbox-related content and discussion will live primarily on Xbox MAD. The all-encompassing Microsoft news podcast affiliate will be Glance and Go Radio.
Uniting these three entities (Redmond Post, Xbox MAD, and Glance and Go Radio) has brought about the creation of the Zunited Network.
More details to come. Stay tuned!
David V. Kimball
